About This Service
Urinary tract stones form when minerals in the urine crystallise and build up in the kidneys, ureters or bladder. At MLOSH Clinics we treat stones of all sizes using Holmium Laser technology, the most effective method currently available.
The procedure is performed without open incisions. A thin scope is passed into the urinary tract and the laser breaks the stone into small fragments that pass out naturally. Recovery time depends on the size and location of the stone and the procedure used.
Treatment approach and recovery time are determined by the size, location and composition of the stone. Our team will assess each case individually.
